Okata's detection equipment for defects in the appearance of cell phone glass covers (NANO-CGI-4070RC) utilizes a high-pixel line array camera with a special combination of LED light sources. High-definition images are acquired and then processed by Okata's self-developed vision detection system. It is capable of detecting appearance defects such as surface scratches, pits, poor silkscreen printing, impurities, and off-color, thus enabling a drastic reduction in the number of conventional visual inspection personnel.

Detection Principle
1. The equipment can obtain multiple cover images with different light sources and different angles at one time, and can detect different defects.
In particular, it has original solutions for defects on the P surface and R corner of 2.5D glass, and supports 3D cell phone glass cover defect detection.
2. The cell phone glass panel detection algorithm developed by Okata has several invention patents and does not require CAD design pattern of cell phone glass cover.
It is adaptive and can automatically identify and categorize different areas of the cover plate.
3. Bad defects that can be detected include: scratches, sharp edges, pits, bad silk screen printing, impurities, and abnormal colors.
